Hello, I hope you can help me a bit here. I am 38 years old, a passionate smoker that does not exercise much. So, I have started having serious coughing problems each morning with a lot of secretion and it worries me. I know that I should quit smoking but it’s not that easy. What are some ways for chronic airway obstruction to be managed?

Well, it looks like that the best thing you can do here is not available. But I will say it – quit smoking. That cough is just a beginning of more serious issues so if you don’t won’t to end up with some severe illness, act on time! Yes, there are medications, syrups etc. but that will just help with the symptoms; the true cause of your problems will remain intact. And there is no one that could help you there but yourself.
