I am supposed to write a paper for college about diabetes. As I know next to nothing about this subject I do hope that you can come to the rescue! Among other things, I really need to know what diabetics can and cannot eat. Would anyone please be so kind to clear this up for me?

Well, that depends on their treatment really. If they are injected with insulin, then diabetics can, and most do, eat almost anything including things that contain lots of sugar. If they are not treated, then this can be extremely dangerous for them though, which is why it is so important that diabetics receive proper medical care.
