I had an Cat scan of my neck because I had a lump there and they checked for lymph nodes or masses. My question is would they have checked for my carotid arteries narrowing or is that a differnt test?

Hi Billy: It's called a Vascular MRI! And because they took an MRI of your neck that would have shown too. My eldest son, has to have a vascular MRI on Monday. It will detect the entire vascular system from his chest upto his head. They are looking for blockages. So they will see anything and everything, if you have ever seen an MRI it shows the area that they are looking at, but everything else as well, it looks like they took different slices. It's really neat actually! Hope this helps!
