Diagnose is finally made. I am suffering from the chronic fatigue syndrome. For along time I couldn't figure out what is going on with me. I felt tired all the time, even exhausted sometimes. It has started to interfere with my life. Since I have started with therapy I am hearing about some antifungal medications. What does antifungal mean?

An antifungal drug is medication used to treat fungal infections such as athlete's foot, ringworm and candidiasis (thrush), but it can be used to treat some of the various symptoms of the CNF also. Some people that are proponents of yeast hypothesis claim that these drugs are useless if they are not combined with a low carbohydrate diet that "starves" the fungus at the same time.
