My mom has a breast cancer. It was found three months ago. She started with therapy that is a combination of several treatments. Those are surgical treatment and radiotherapy. Since she feels very sick from X rays, she is receiving Palonosetron. She has heart problems, she takes meds for her high pressure. What drugs may interact with Palonosetron?

Palonosetron block specific 5HT3 receptors and by that mechanism prevents vomiting very successfully, especially one caused by the treatment with citostatics. X rays could damage the stomach epitel seriously. Palonosetron does interact with some medications, such as anti arrhythmic drugs, diuretics too. I think that she should consult her cardiologist.
