i had sex with my boyfriend on dec.22 or23 before my last period.(with protection). we got into a huge fight and took a break until jan.23 .which we then tried fixing it. we had sex for the first time without protection around feb 2 (no sooner)! while we were on break i ended up sleepin with an ex after my period. i cannot remember my last period exactly but it was last late dec or early jan. Me and my ex continued havin sex until jan. 23. We never usedprotection because was suppose to be protected by birth control. MY doc. gave me a blood test pregnancy was a neg. which is odd because my due date is Oct 4 ,2012 Im about 8 weeks and 5days. This means that i was actually prego when the test was performed by my doc!! can a blood sample be off ? HELP ON WHO IS CORRECT FATHER AND WHEN EXACTLY CAN A BLOOD TEST DETERMIND PREGNANCY??

Usually when a doctor tells you how far along you are they base it from your last menstrual period. It's easy to calculate as most women know when that is. The tests are only an average. Despite what your doctor implies, they can't tell how far along you are to the day.
Backing up 8 weeks and 5 days from today is January 3rd. That is likely sometime around when your last period occurred.
When did you have the blood test? The test looks for a specific hormone made only by the embryo. IT can take some time to rise high enough to be detected. There is variation in nature.
More likely it is your boyfriend (on the 22nd of December) and not the ex. You may need a DNA test to be sure.
