I am Hepatitis B positive. Suddenly in last one year my ALT started going up. I am trying to think what happened. One thing that struck my mind, I had some symptoms on my penis after a sexual foreplay where likely vaginal liquids touched my penis. The symptoms occurred in the form of soft white pimples on the outer periphery of glans near sulcus. Soon they will burst leaving a reddish circular patch, which will then heal. No irritation or itching. Sometime, I found 3 or 4 of them on the same peripheral line. I think I noticed this for a month (come and go), but then they never came back. But then my ALT started flaring up. I would first like to find if I contracted an STD and which one. Then I am wondering if there is a relationship between ALT and the STD.
