Who sang a song in the 1970s called "Calling Occupants of Interplanetary Crafts?" There was a bit of a big to-do about it b/c people thought it was the Beatles and everyone was very excited for about a week thinking they'd secretly gotten back together. But alas that wasn't it.

So does anyone remember the band's name? There's a big jar of toothless peanut butter to be given away by Prohemp if you get it right.

Are you serious? No it wasn't the Carpenters. No toothless PB for you. And great good luck in the marathon, BTW.

OK here's a clue. The name of the band is connected to "The Day The Earth Stood Still."

I believe the movie quote is: "Klaatu Barada Nicktoh!"

We have a winner ladies and gentleman! See Prohemp for peanut butter. Congrats Monk. Do you remember any of the goings-on when that song came out?
