Hello Everyone-

My name is Sarah and I am a running novice. My friends have always ran 3K's. I recently started to a regime of running one week and walking one week and I am seeing an increase in my miles over the weeks I have done this. I am planning on running a 4 miler in July and would like some advice. I have been increasing the amount of time I am on the treadmill by five minutes every two weeks ( the first two weeks, I ran and walked for 30 minutes, the last two weeks I have ran and walked for 35 minutes). I am a little frustrated though because I am running only 1.7 miles in 35 minutes. I hope over time that the distance increases as the time decreases. I would appreciate any advice you can give me.
