Hi I'm Amanda, I'm 27 years old. I have a 3 month old baby. I started running about a week ago. I run in 20 min sessions so far about every other day. I'll usually stretch then walk for a couple mins then move to about 5 miles an hour pace. I'll hold it for as long as I can. Today I ran for 16 mins at that pace. I was pretty winded and did push myself... I walked a fast pace for 2 mins then ran at 6 for the last min then walked down for 4 minutes. I'm trying to increase every run cycle by atleast a min each time so I can work up to running for 20 minutes straight. Does this sound like I'm on the right track? Any other advice? I did run a mile in 12.25 minutes today. The first minute of that was walking.
