Hi there everyone,
I'm 24 and I've had anxiety problems similar to your since I was 16. No one knows more about these problems and the fear like I do. I'm going to give all of you some free advice that I had to travel and pay for and I don't think I got to it in time. I have noticed a very large improvement for myself but I think it would help you guys out much more since your just getting this now. Firstly it is anxiety that you are suffering from guaranteed. It is in your head so to speak but its out of your control unless you make these certain changes. #1 as you already know absolutely no caffeine. #2 Do not smoke! #3 Cut out alcohol for a while. #4 Keep yourselves well hydrated. #5 Cut out all foods, beverages, dressings that contain these two very common ingredient food enhancers....one being Monosodium Glutamate (MSG) and the other being Aspertame. These food enhancers are the large reason of what's wrong with you I guarantee it. Look around your cupboards and see for yourself how many of the foods you eat that contain these two ingredients then google them and see for yourself what the Government is hiding from all of us. Its really quite sickening. Its almost impossible to cut them out completely but it never hurts to just cut back. I hope this info helped some of you. Just to save you a tiny bit of trouble MSG causes all sorts of diseases one of the top ones being irregular heart beats, others being alzheimers disease, panic attacks, asthma etc. This additive has only been used since the 70s. Aspertame is even in chewing gum. These ingredients are poison and its proven so do your best to avoid these products as much as you can please. I've been through it all so take my advice and put it to good use. Thanks

I've had this problem off and on for the last ten years. It wasn't until I got a job at GNC that I discovered I lacked certain vitamins. Please try

hi everyone: i am Robert & 42 yr old.
i have the same symptoms. started 3 years ago. I was stressed and one night I had a cheeseburger from J.Box and that night i end up in hospital, fast h.b. and short of breath. I am vegetarian now, and no more coffee/alchohol/meat/cheese/milk. "I eat fish like salmon or tuna as a protein". the problem is I lost weight and feel weak. about a month ago in August i was riding my bike, when all of sudden my h.b. went up and short of breath, and Dr. said i was dehydrated and need Gatorade and water. now every time i go outside when it is hot "even sitting on chair" I get fast heartbeat and breath shortness.
I also found out I have H.Pilory , a bacteria that lives in stomach and its not easy to get rid of. when you have acid reflux and or ulcer, your stomach causes pain and a hormone called adrenaline, which can cause fast h.b. and eventually short of breath (sob).
now you need Omeprazole and 2 types of anti bacterias, for 14 days and you will have to keep using your Omeprazole pills. you have to stop using " caffeine / tea / cola / diet cola/ fatty or fried food / most dairy ", another word mostly vegetarian.
you need to eat every 2 to 3 hours and small portion food. you will loose weight, just remember don't do like i did, " Your body is not as strong as used to be, you will loose weight and feel better but do not go out there trying ride bike in heat or exercise".
no more heavy foods, your stomach is sick, and will take up to 9 to 12 months to get better.
mine started in 2008 got better in 2009, I start eating stuff not supposed to and BAMM! came back in 2010, so yes I regret it, but i have changed my diet food and no more happy stuff "burger / chicken / steak / cheese / ice cream / ..." , go figure! sucks for me, but I have to, so if i can so can you.
I start eating food ___ SLOWER , I chew more and take a small bite and wait a little and eat a little bit more slowly, and remember you will have to use:
1: Mylanta (anti gas / acid )
2: Rolaids (after food)
3: OMEPRAZOLE (ask your doctor, it is stronger prelosac)
4: CHEW GUM AFTER FOOD, you have to chew gum after gum, yeah i know it sucks but trust me it helps your stomach and it is healthy for your colon.
5: Don't eat late. Eat Good breakfast (oatmeal / grains...) Always Toast, never eat bun bread untoasted, try meadle eastern bread like Lavash or Pita, they dont have as much as east as regular bread.
6: I eat oatmeal one day, and toast and honey and peanut or almond butter next day. HONEY Helps your stomach to get rid of bacterias.
7: Drink Cranberry Juice in morning with your breakfast and lunch. "mix it half / half with water "
8: Reduce exercise.
9: Learn to chill, Slow down, RELAX! stop listening to crazy music, try playing musical instruments. DO NOT STRESS! it makes it all worse, if you are angry accept it, and find out why you got mad, and don't let that bother you again "you can also ask for help at your local church".
10: Have faith and you will be better and save :-)
that will help you and your stomach problems, trust me!
but hey if you have any idea , why my h.b. goes up fast when i seat in the sun please send me a email :-)
yoopti at yahoo.com
thank you.
Good luck!

Hi, my husband has the same problem fast heart rate, however the doctor's put him on medication to lower the heart rate and also his blood pressure. The best thing to do is see your doctor a cardiologist so that they could run test and let you know more about this condition, because they told him it's not normal.

Hi everyone

I am a 33 year old male from Australia. I have had this problem for many years and have been put on every machine you can think of. My wife and best friend even called an ambulance for me one day and the offices all looked at me like I had 6 heads! In the past I have been overweight by over 30kg. Over the last 6 months I have lost all that weight yet this thing still continues to happen. For me it happens more often than not after I eat but on occassion when I wake up in the morning. I have tried avoiding all types of foods until recently someone suggested it could be a wheat or yeast allergy. Honestly whenver I eat glutten free bread, I never have this problem. I gave into tempation and had my favourite olive bread an hour a go and wouldn't you know it - my heart is flying again! I would just recommend that people consider taking a blood test to determine if you have a glutten intollerence. Whenver I have eaten glutten free bread, I have never had this problem. I wish you all the very best.

Hi, I'm 16, not overweight, and I don't have asthma. My heart started randomly beating faster occasionally around 2nd grade. Sometimes it'll start when I'm bending over to pick something up or just sitting around. Before 7th grade I went to a small school that didn't have a gym. Afterwards when I went to a school with a gym I noticed that the episodes occured more often when we were playing some kind of game that makes loud thumping, like basketball, jump roping, and even badminton. It wasn't the exercise that bothered my heart because I could do that stuff without a problem outside of the loud sweaty gym.

You probably have a sertant kind of Tachycardia there is more than one kind of tachycardia. And, you may have palpatations even though you don't feel it. And if u do have palpations they sometimes show up once in a while and can be accompanied be a fast heart rate. To stop this i'd suggest u buy a stethoscope:) , listen to your heart with your eyes closed, calculate ur pulse for 15 seconds then get what u find and multiply it by four, write it down in a journal each day,lie in a room take a deep slow breath ,relaxed, then take your pulse again. -Thanks for letting me put give you my cardiac knoledge!

Hi, I also had the same with my chest and heart. I started doing meditation and some breathing techniques for 15 min twice a day. My problems have come down gradually. Suggest you to practice the same :-). All the best.
