I am just finishing my 3rd pack of Yaz, I have one placebo left and still have not gotten my period. The last 2 months I started spotting on the last active pill before the sugar pill-periods were light but they were there. This time, no period, no cramps, breasts are about 1/2 cup size bigger-but not tender. I have gained about 5 lbs in the last two months. I have also been taking my pills every day at around the same time (with in the hour). I don't think I am pregnant- no symptoms except for the missed period.

I have pretty much the same problem as everyone else. I am only taking YAZ to have regular periods. I am infertile but still desire to regulate my cycle. I have not seen a period since I began my first pack 3 months ago. I think its the best thing ever since I don't really need my period anyway.

I am really glad that I have found out it is not just me. I was on Yasmin and was consistent. I changed to Yaz about a year ago and had no problems, kinda liked the lighter periods. Now for the past 3 months I have not had a period and should be starting tomorrow....probably won't. I have also had the same symptoms that I would before I start, just without the flow. I have taken every pg test known to man (except for going to the doctor) and they are all negative. I thought I need to get to the doctor....but I have an extremely busy schedule...and it sounds pretty normal.

I am so happy to know other people are experiencing the same thing I am. I went for my yearly, my doctor wanted to give me samples. I have been on Yasmin for years now, he didn't have any so he gave me Yaz. My period is right on the dot every month. The last week of each month I know my friend is coming. I took the last active pill on a Tuesday and no period. It is now Thursday and nothing. I have taken 3 pregnancy tests and all are negative. As of next month I am going back to my trust worthy Yasmin.

Yea..Ive been on Yaz now for 2 months and still haven't got a period ...so I'm guessing i won't since...everyone else doesn't.. I don't see anyone preggos!! yet, Well now my boyfriend can stop wishing I am pregnant.

I am yet another person on Yaz, who seems to have missed a period after the third pack of yaz. I took my fourth white pill this morning, and still no period. I just took a home pregnancy test and it is negative (not pregnant). Didn't really give me peace of mind though...

I am so glad to have read all this. I started taking my first pack of Yaz only 2 weeks ago and I haven't taken birth control for almost 7 years now, so I had no idea what to expect. I have been tired and faint, constipated, vomiting, nauseous (even the smell of food has been bothering me) my breasts hurt, my lower back hurts, my legs hurt -- I've been freaking out that I'm pregnant but I've suspected that it has all had to do with Yaz, which it seems from your responses that it could be. I have been on YAZ for almost 2 years now and i love it. i noticed alot of ppl were wondering about starting your period late. i have experienced that its just how the pill works. i have always started on a Sunday, Saturday at the earliest. i do remember that right around the 3rd month my body was acting kinda weird but i think it is the type of birth control it is. Before yaz i would start sometime in the last week. it was never set, and always a surprise. i also always missed periods. i was on Yazmin before yaz.
i wouldn't really worry about starting late in the last week... especially in the first 6 months. I have noticed that your period should start Saturday or Sunday everyone's body is different, and remember when you are starting a new birth control you need to use a backup contraceptive for the first 3 to 4 months.

Wow, I am so relieved that others are missing/skipping their periods.
I was on Yazmin for several years. Being a Sunday starter, I would get my period on Friday and therefore would only have a 2 day period. Well now on Yaz I have yet to have one. I know that I am not pregnant. Not the virgin Mary, but it would defiantly be a miracle

I am on my second pack, haven't missed ANY pills, took them all within 15 minutes of 9:00 and I haven't gotten my period. It is scary! I was afraid of being pregnant when I was a virgin so you can imagine how afraid I get now. It is highly unlikely though, because I take my pills consistently and we use condoms, too. It's a load off my mind to know that you guys are going through the same thing!

i just started my 4th pack and didnt have a period last pack. I am thinking that this is just an awesome side effect of the pills. I would love to not have a period anymore. XD I also had cramping after I should have had my period. It is weird but I dont feel pregnant. I think it is totally normal, but I will ask my doc when i go.

Well if you have missed pills, you should be worried that you could be pregnant. You should be more responsible when you are taking these pills.

Kinda glad everyone else is having this issue but still no peace of mind. I have one placebo pill left on my 3rd month of Yaz. Everythings fairly normal as far as symptoms of the cycle go but no blood...kind of worried.
Anyone have any good news on the fact that this is a newer form of birth control that no one said after your third month you could lose your period entirely...very annoyed.

I started on Yaz last Oct. Everything was great but it gave me horrible mood swings, so I switched to a different dosage-yasmine, same thing just different ammount, for about a month-June, it is now September and I still haven't gotten my period. I stoped taking it just incase I was pregnant because it can be harmful, I've taken two tests, both say neg. I don't have all the symptoms and Im not as worried anymore because if I was pregnant I would be showing now right? Four months? Anyways, has anyone had this happen and then finally got there period? Should I talk to my doctor? Ughhh. >:(
