Over the summer (2012) whenever I had sex with my boyfriend (We're both 20 years old) it really hurt and we eventually had to stop doing it until i could go to the doctor. When I finally went, I was told that i had a very bad yeast infection and it caused ulcers in my vagina. She gave me medication as well as some medication for my boyfriend. We both took it and I was fine for a few months. But now I feel like it is coming back. I haven't had a problem with sex yet, but I would HATE to have to go through that again like over the summer and esp hate to put my boyfriend through it. I am unable to go to my doctor anytime soon because I am away at school. Does anyone have any advice? Does monistat typically work? Why would it come back so soon?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated! I'm determined to not let it get bad!

Thanks

Your problem is clear and it is a called of sex sensitive, may be of too fast penetration or when your vaginal muscles are streched or they get may be ruptured,,so i have been studying its my field so better to take a cure treatment to some doc otherwise it will lead to serious STD's as you mentioned that you do it on regularly bases,so better to stop when when you find pain symptoms.thanx
