I've tried to figure it out myself but seeing as I'm not a doctor, I'm still not sure what's up with me.
I'm 19 years old and have never had my period. I have pubic hair and underarm hair.
the factors:
-when I was 4 years old I had to have my right ovary removed because of a cyst.
-I have been small/underweight my whole life, currently I am 5'5" and about 80 lbs. fyi, I do not have an eating disorder.

I used to think I would be a late bloomer because of only having one ovary, but now I'm thinking it is because I am underweight?

here are my questions:
1. Do I have to gain weight to get my period? I'm fine with my body the way it is, and it would be very socially difficult to sprout at this age.
2. If I haven't completely gone through puberty, is my vaginal area not fully developed? I was wondering because I find it difficult to masturbate and don't get pleasure from it when I try.
3. If I never get my period, does that mean I can never get pregnant?
4. Sometimes I get a white-ish discharge. I used to think it was a pre-period thing. when I get it it can go on for up to 2 months. I don't think it is an infection because I'm not itchy and it doesn't really smell, but I'm not sure what it is.

sorry for such a lengthy post, any help is greatly appreciated.

Because of your history, i think you should mention this to your doctor.
You do need to have started your periods for your body to be ready to have a baby.
But never take chances always use protection if you are sexualy active.
Your period could start at anytime.

I don't think that that is normal. You should get medical help immediatly. I haven't had my period, but I'm only 11 so that is normal. But you, it is amazing you haven't had yours. My friend had hers when she was ten. Get help quick.
