For the last six years I have had a bruise covering about half the top of my foot ending at the toes. I have no recollection of an event that may have caused it. Any pressure causes pain. In last year, the bruise has "spread" closer toward the area below the big toe.. I have had x rays, MRI, CAT scan, vascular scans with no resulting diagnosis - the doctors say they have no idea. If the pain and bruise moves completely over the part of the foot below the big toe, I will no longer be able to wear shoes. The vascular surgeon said there is nothing wrong "under the skin" and I might try a dermatogist.
Any ideas from anyone????
