I am 16 years old and have read wheat other people have written on this site about possible sign of vaginal cancer. What I may or may not have does not sound like what they have. But, I have a couple small bumps on my skin a little before the split or begining of my vagina or cervix. They are not bumps caused by shaving because those bumps go away and I've had them for a little while. They are not red and do not hurt. I am not sexually active and am a virgin. So I know it's not sexually related, or an std. But, I'm still caucious of it. At first I thought it could be like a ingrown hair from shaving but, the two small bumps didn't go away and there where no "heads". But if someone could give some insite I would apprciate it. thank you. :)

Hi, Hm.....usually bumps that dont hurt need to be checked! I am also wondering if it could be related to a case of hemorrhoids. Just note for a few more days if it keeps growing.  How has your system been? It is regular? Don't go to touch or injure that area as it could be sensitive. For the moment I can tell u something you can do at home. Keep the area clean. Wash entire area well after you visit the bathroom. With some luke warm salted water just wash the area. Salt kills bacteria and germs. If in a weeks time you see no change, seriously suggest you visit a good doctor. TC.

It is perfectly normal. Sounds like me at 16. In some women the bumps are larger than in others, and some don't even have them/notice them. I'm 23 and have seen a gyno since I was 16 (didn't have sex til i was 18 - just an external exam to get on birth control). nothing to worry about!
