Sounds like pimples or ingrown hairs, if you don't have sex you shouldn't be worrying. But if you seriously think it's an STD you should go get yourself looked at by professionals.

It's no need to panic, ingrown pubic folicles are common amongst teenage to young adult males I am 20 years old and i still get them, it's mainly caused by shaving but it can happen even if you don't shave...don't worry too much about it STD's ussually occur around the head head of the penis, with some people anti-botics could be key but with others they won't do much at all, I was afraid at first as well but now i know they are just a common accurance and will go away as you get older, if you are still concerned about them then the best person to ask would be a dermatologist, but if you shave remember to use a good moisturizer before and after you shave otherwise these break outs will worsen, I hope this was helpful to those of you who are currently having this problem

Don't mess around when it comes to your balls. In High School, Middle School, even Elementary School I remember the basics of breast exams being taught, but not testicular exams. This is flat out stupid since young men 14-35 are the most risk for TC. TC is the most common type of cancer for young men however there is still very little education and let's face it,it is embarrassing to confront a doctor about it.
It is important to say that not all lumps are cancer, and sometimes such as the person stretching out the scrotum can be easily distinguished with a little education.
Here are some simple guidelines that every male should consider.
1) Urologist knows best. Most doctors do not have a good background in Testicular Cancer. The lack of knowledge is ok if it isn't Testicular Cancer however if it is ...
2) Know the players. It is important to know the difference between the testicle and scrotum area. This might seem more trival than it is. Often people confuse bumps on the scrotum with bumps on the testical. Know how to separate the two.
3) Every boy and Every man needs to know how to do a self examination. This similar to breast exams. Most tumors do not generate pain which is why a lot of TC cases go into stage 2 and 3.
4) If you think it might be cancer, get checked out right away even if it is to give you just a piece of mind. You get freaked out enough, see the doctor enough, you will learn what to look for.
5) Just because you had a lump in the past and it was nothing does not me it is in the present. A past lump does not turn into cancer, however sometimes one might think that their current lump is nothing becuase they had a lump in the past that was nothing.
6) UROLOGIST KNOWS BEST. If your doctor thinks it is an infection and the symptoms do not clear in a couple of days DEMAND to see a urologist. Throw a fit. Hold Protests, contact me, I don't care, see a Urologist. Do not accept antibiotic injections, stronger antibiotics, or anything else. Time is a factor, you should see the Urologist that day or the next. I am not saying that if it doesn't go away it is cancer, your doctor may be correct however, at that point better safe than sorry. The worst you can do is waste an afternoon going to the doctor and 5 minutes of the urologists time.
7) Do not accept a "wait and see" approach. Unless it is coming from a a doctor that is comfortable in staking his licenses on the fact it is not cancer demand to see one that is. Some bumps are clearly not in the testical, they can be in other areas less obvious than on the scrotum. A good doctor would have no problem saying, "I will bet my career that it is not caner." If the doctor cannot make that bet then don't bet your life that the doctor is right.
I hope at this point you are scared and checking your balls. I hope you find something and ask your doctor about it. I hope the doctor tells you it is nothing and talks with you a little more on what to look for. Testicular cancer is one of the most curable forms of Cancer, but it is also one of the most devastating forms of cancer. It is aggressive and embarrassing.
It is not EVER caused from masturbation on anything sexually related, do not ever think that. At 14 or 15 males would rather die than to admit to masturbating. Do not let that get in the way of getting checked out, only the uneducated would believe that.
It is nice to see that there is a place where people could come together and anonymously ask embarrassing questions. It has been 11 years since my victory over testicular cancer. 11 years ago I discovered a lump on my testicle, a lump that was similar to one I had a year prior but far from the same. The year prior I had epididimitis and assumed the lump was an infection. Though this infection is not always caused by an STD sometimes it is. Despite how you got the infection the treatment is the same, a lot of antibiotics. At the time I was going to Chico State and was misdiagnosed for over a month. Despite the antibiotics and the pain killers the lump and the pain was still there. I went to see a Urologist and I was diagnosed almost immediately. Since Testicular Cancer is a fast moving cancer time is critical in how you deal with it. The month delay in treatment caused the tumor to spread.
I hope that the time put into writing all of this stuff down helps draw attention to bumps on the balls. A lot of people have the same fears and questions, perhaps if their were less fear and more answers we can keep TC cases in Stage 1, which is possible if we all know just a little.
In the end, be bold, it is your balls and you only get two.
