I'm 21 years old and I have a dilemma about something: a girl that I'm dating for over 3 months now told me that she had a history of STD, she had Chlamedia and she says that she received treatment and that she’s cured. We had sex a couple of times so far and lately I have this strange pain in my penis after the intercourse and later a watery discharge and it doesn’t look like semen. I very concerned because I think I might be infected with Chlamedia because in the last two weeks we didn’t use a condom. Could I be right about this and what are the treatment methods for this disease?

claims that she’s been cured. There are often relapses among those who were treated for Chlamedia. The treatment is fairly simple, as you might have heard from your girlfriend, you are given a dose of antibiotics like azithromycin, doxycycline, or erythromycin and a certain period of time youre supposed to have a test to see if youre really cured or not. You and your girlfriend should talk to your doctors about it, because there seems to be a great possibility that you do have it. If you do catch it in an early stage there probably will be no serious consequences, if it develops in can causes great problems in your reproductive system and even more problems with your girlfriend since women are generally more sensitive to Chlamedia infections.
