hi there everybody, well i want to quit heroin so badly and im having trouble getting to that 24 hour mark where i can take suboxone. please let me know if its a good idea to take xanax until i reach my mark. my plan is to take xanax and try my hardest to knock out until i get to the 24 hour mark and start taking suboxone to help with the heroin withdrawal. im so tired of this. i have to stop i been hooked for 6 months again this time and im done. im just done. i keep reading that xanax and suboxone dont mix but its the only i can find for anxiety that i think might help. please let me know what you think

Im sorry I dont know about any of that stuff so I cant answer but I saw your entry and just wanted to ask you to please please get help to quit! People in my area have been dying left and right from heroin including a beautiful girl I met once because she was a friend of an acquaintance of mine and a sweet young man I knew for a long time through a local business that would always shoot the breeze with me. Both had so much good stuff ahead of them. So sad. Im glad you wanna quit!! (HANDS CLAPPING) But Im not sure you're going to get the right answers here -but of course keep checking. Possibly call a drug hotline? Anything! Just get away from that stuff!...not for nothing but maybe if you walked into an ER?...
