My grandmother was diagnosed with dementia a while ago, and I have started reading a lot about this, and come to the conclusion that she might not suffer from dementia at all, but rather from a condition called Aceruloplasminemia. I hear that the symptoms of Aceruloplasminemia patients are often mistaken for dementia. What can you tell me about this? How do we distinguish dementia from Aceruloplasminemia?
