I slipped on ice and fell on wooden step, landing my 280# on kidney area. I instantly had pain to ribs but it quickly went away. Starting a week later and continuing till today(3-4weeks) i have an ache that comes and goes, not getting better or worse and seems to happen minutes after urinating. Pain is just under my left rib,back and near the side. Also noticed that if i'm laying on right side and stick fingers under ribs,front near side there was sharp pain. any ideas Thank You

This is very interesting because in my opinion there are two things that might be causing your pain. First the fall could damage your rib and you might have a fracture of the ribs. I don’t know if you had any swelling in that area? The second thing is that you injured your kidney when you feel down which then caused some internal bleeding or other damage. If you have pain after the urination I think that you should check your kidney quite an ultrasound and see if there are any problems there. You will most likely be needing a treatment for kidney if the doctor notices any problems there. i hope this helped you a bit.
