Same issue here I'm afriad, pain in the right testicle with what feels like joint pain in the right leg.
I'm wondering if it is because of driving (tend to spend around 2 hours per day in the car), or the way I'm sleeping. Notably it goes away overnight and I wake up without any pain but then it gradually builds again through the day.

You may need more support while sitting.
Have you tried wearing a supporter for a day?
I'd start with that, and if you're wearing boxer shorts, try jockey shorts to "hug you tighter".

I have exactly the symptoms you guys have but i can't tell if the pain is coming from my leg or my testicle on the right side .....it feels more like my leg ..... I've also been checked numerous times and the doc always says there is nothing wrong. I'm not overweight I'm actually very athletic , so thats not the issue . the pain seems to come from the inside middle of my right thigh if i would have to guess it radiates down to my knee a little as well. The pain comes and goes some days worse than others.......I've also noticed when I ejaculate that my right testicle is drawn up real high out of the sack and into the pubic region, has anyone else experienced this?.......I don't check my e-mail so if anyone has any news please send a message to me

Hi guys..i've been reading this article for about 2 weeks now and i learned a lot..i have the same symptoms for about a month now.. i don't remember how this started but i guess its from masturbation and lots of sitting, im not sure though. I took some of the advice of the other posters here like trying to GET UP AND WALK AROUND, avoid too much sitting and avoid drinking softdrinks just fruit drinks and water and take some ibrufofen. Somehow at the moment i experience not having pain in my right testicles the whole day but i still experience dull pain in my right leg and lower back portion..but somehow its my condition is improving..well my advice is gp tp you doc Asap and if your negative from several test then you should take this solution..it might help you somehow. I still have it at the moment but ill just update you guys. Get well soon mates. :-)

Hey guys I have been experiencing the same thing for the past week or so. Light throbbing pain in the right testicle, and just tonight I started feeling it in my right inner thigh a bit. Tonight I also have a weird throbbing / twitching in my right inner thigh but I'm not sure if that's related. I probably have sex once a week and masturbate once or twice per week. I do about 7 hours of sitting at work but I drink mostly water during the day. I first noticed it while sitting at my desk at work. Tomorrow if the pain persists I will make an appointment to see the doctor. I will report back with what they say.

I've had this going on for about a year and some months now. It came on fairly weak. My left testicle just felt irritated, a bit off, and it went away for a while. It came back and built up over a month or so to be really annoying. I don't have much money or medical insurance, so the doc wasn't really much of an option. More of a last resort. At first I was really worried it was cancer, but then it started spreading down through my inner thigh to my knee. I figured that was a bit odd and just tried to forget it for a while.
I also found that it gets worse when I think about it. Still not exactly sure why that is. Anyway, other symptoms include the feeling of my left testi/part of the sack sticking to my left leg. It's a dull ache and doesn't hurt any more or less if I move it or apply some pressure. I think there's a slight swelling in the veins at the bottom/back of the testicle.
The only things I could figure that would make the ache spread from my testi to my knee were muscle, nerve, or blood flow. And while I work out a medium amount, I'm also a computer guy. I sit at work, drive to different places to fix computers/networks, and sit at my computer at home. I know this is bad for all 3 of these things. I only slightly overweight due to eating half healthy and working out a bit.
One day I tried stretching and massaging my left thigh and knee. Mostly the inner and back thigh. In about 30 minutes, my pain was less than half. I know that stretching is good for blood flow, so is massaging. I then remembered something else that's good for blood flow. Garlic. Garlic is a natural antibiotic and good for your heart/bloodflow. At one time I had a really nasty sore throat that just kept lasting, a month or so without letting up at all. I figured it was an infection. Did some research and found out about garlic. Got some and took them regularly. Three days later, sore throat was gone. So I believed in the antibiotic quality already. Figured I'd try the blood flow aspect out.
For a couple months now, I've been taking garlic pills through the day and my pain is virtually gone. I've noticed if I stop taking them (I ran out at one point), it comes back after a few days. There are many different brands and dose sizes when it comes to garlic pills, I found. I've been taking the smaller dose ones 2 to 3 times a day. I'm almost sure it's a blood flow issue now. I'm hoping that with some healthier eating, continued garlic use, and more exorcise, I might permanently fix this for myself. I'm thinking about doubling my doses, maybe picking up some stronger supplements.
Even if it doesn't fix it permanently, I figure long term garlic use will help prevent strokes and heart attacks anyway.
A few things I want to note. I'm slightly overweight, sit a lot, drink diet soda, coffee, alcohol, I drive about 250 miles a week sometimes more. I'm 26. Maybe we'll find a pattern.
Anyway, I recommend trying garlic supplements. They're super cheap, you can find them in most grocery stores. There was one brand I tried that didn't have any sort of coating so it tasted terrible and probably digested too quickly leading to stomach pains and a bloated feeling - so be aware those ones (was extra extra cheap).
But most importantly! Post your results after a week or so of trying it out.

This topic is a great find. So many replies with the same problem.
Anyway, around 8 weeks ago I started getting shooting pains in my right testicle. I thought nothing of it for a week or so as I thought I might have got myself an infection from shower gel or a body cream. It's happened before, as I'm sure many of us. So drank loads of water to flush it out. Did that, but was still there. After a few weeks the shooting pains changed to a dull ache in my right testicle and lower abdomal. I checked for lumps and no problem. It wasn't painful touching the testicle either. The pain then started on my right leg. And now 8 weeks later, for 5 days now I've been having a constant twitch, muscle spasm in my right thigh, just above the knee. Not painful, but annoying. I got myself to the doctors who then checked my testicle, no problems there. I told him the problems and he was stuck and had no idea what the problem could be. He has now booked me in the hospital for an ultra sound. Hopefully I will get an appointment soon. I'm lucky enough to live in the UK and have NHS here, so don't have to worry about costs.
Having a read through the topics I notice it could be sitting for long periods, wearing boxers, certain exercises or too much masturbation?
Well, I do fit some of them. I drive a lot in my job. Sometimes 6 hours per day. Have done for the past 5 years but not had a problem before. I'm also a tall guy as well, and notice I automatically keep sloutching when sitting down, so could be crushing my balls without even knowing it.
I also wear boxer shorts. Always have done though.
Masturbation, well, I have my own and off weeks. Sometimes I could be doing it a few times per day, to just a few times per week. I am a right hander though. Right hand - right testicle? Maybe a connection?
Exercise. I did have a year out of exercise, but been training for 5 months now. Mainly jogging, weights, cycling. I'm starting to think it may be down to cycling, as I've been more intense with this the past few months.
It could be a number of issues. However, I will feel better once I've had the ultrasound.
I will post an update as soon as I know anything more. I'm sure before you read this topic with these answers you were worrying just as much as myself. Reading through I do feel less worried though. This is when the good old internet is such a great thing to have.

I have had the same pain. in both Testes and also in the top the Groin this occurs after intercourse and lasts for 2/3 days.
The Dr has examined me and I have had a ultrasound and all is clear but the pain is still there.
Is it normal for the Testes to retract into the pouches either side of the penis when you ejaculate?
I noticed this recently and I think there may be a link.
let me Know if any of you have had this or know the answer.
Thanks

I believe what you are describing is the "pulling up of the testes" into the body.
This typically happens when high levels of arousal are reached. Something this is so that during the vigorous action of intercourse that the testicles don't get trapped or crushed between the abdoment or legs.
However, it is not common for them to pull all the way INTO the body cavity... as that would over-heat them and might lead to infertility or at least the loss of viable sperm.
Some men notice that they have testicles that hang at different heights, and when they "pull up" during high arousal, one might be stressed by the "short cord" and produce some pain. I suppose that it's possible that BOTH your supporting cords might be short enough that they both "pull up".
I have noticed on occassion during intercourse and high levels of sexual excitment that my right testicle will ache a bit. I have also observed that this is the testicle that hangs "shorter" for me.
Hope some of this has helped you.

Guys, the most likely answer is that our hamstring got pulled somehow and the nerves go all the way up to your testicles so that's why both leg and testicle hurts. Visa versa or a combo of this happened.
1. I use good Garlic Pills to make my blood thinner
2. I also use Spiroflor (Muscle and Joint Gel from VSM, Homeopathic) a few times a day and massage my leg every now and then.
This seems to work REALLY well so I suggest you all try it.
Hope this helps, enjoy life! :-)

Interesting to see how many people suffer from this besides myself - like others I have an ache in my left testicle (which is also tender to the touch) plus an ache in my left leg and foot. My right testicle is a little tender but not much.
This all started about a month ago, curiously on the right side - my doc thought it was epididymitis but four courses of antibiotics later and no result. The right side problem largely disappeared and the left side started to ache instead and continues to do so. Ibuprofen helps a bit.
In the past few days I've had an Ultrasound scan on my testicles and all is perfectly normal. Have also been checked over by a Urologist and he didn't find anything either. He says that almost half of the men who come to him with aching testicles have no discernable cause of the problem. He usually finds that it's one of those things that flares up from time to time and can last for a few weeks or months before it goes away and eventually returns. He wasn't aware of any 'cure' as such, simply pain management. Some people get it so bad that they decide to have the testicle(s) surgically removed, but the Urologist said that sometimes this doesn't make the pain go away as the people end up with phantom pain (ie like phantom limb pain).
I'm in my late 40s and sit down a LOT. I don't get any exercise but I'm slim and eat a restricted diet due to also suffering from IBS (as I have been for about 20 years).
My father used to suffer from sciatica and I can't help wonder if it's related.
Any more thoughts from anyone on this annoying (and painful) problem?

Not sure if this has been mentioned before. I've had similar symptoms including dull achy pain in one testicle and sometimes two. It comes and goes (e.g. every 6 months to a year) and typically lasts up to a month. Many time before I have been diagnosed by doctor as epidytimitis and receive a round of antibiotics. The last time I felt imense pain and went to the emergency room. The next day I saw a urologist who examined me, performed a urine test for infections and sent me for an ultrasound. Everything came up fine. He diagnosed me with Appendix Testes. He explained that the appendix testes is a nodule off of the testicle that does not serve a purpose but sometimes can twist and swell causing pain, many times causing symptoms similar to epyditimitis or UTI. Sometimes it falls off, sometimes it just untangles itself. Sometimes taking antibiotics or pain medication acts as an anti inflammatory which may cause it to untangle. This is why its often misdiagnosed as an infection because it goes away either on its own or with the help of antibiotics.
I've been told even it goes away, that you are prone to have it come back. Lucky us.
You can have surgery to remove it but not guaranteed it can be fixed. Given its size it does not typically come up on ultrasounds.
There is some info if you google it but not a whole lot.

Jan-Feb 09: Felt a lump in testicles, the lump allows light to pass, so likely fluid
April 09:
Doctor1(urgent care): Mild pain likely means infection, epididymitis likely. Took mild antibiotic for a week or so. Seemed to help.
Doctor2(several weeks later): Similar exam, went on with ultrasound. Radiologist says hydrocele, harmless fluid accumulation.
Summer-Early Fall: Seemed to be better, mostly discomfort with tighter pants, or while sleeping on balls funny.
Fall: Reoccurance of mild pain, some leg pain as well.
Age:26
Lifestyle: Relatively inactive over the period I have been having issues. I used to run, but stopped over the winter of 08 due to work. Fairly high stress individual. Prior to problem I drove a lot, 6+ hours a day as a sales engineer. Used heated seats, maybe related.
Diet: manufactured food (trader joes), maybe 1/2 cooked meals beans, rice vegs. Alcohol on weekends, drinking increased over time before issues. May be alcohol related.
Sex drive: inactive for several years, 2 partners, not likely an STD though I have not been tested. Assume that some STD would be treated by antibiotic, probably a goto diagnosis for some docs. Regular masturbation.
Notes: Likely related to lifestyle and diet maybe genetics. Problem exacerbated by regular alcohol consumption. It seems like I am not the only one who drives a lot, so maybe related to excessive "sitting". May also be related to early onset diabetes?
Treatment?: Going to work on diet, and stretching. I have seen the fruit diet suggested several places (10day), I am going to give this a try. Also going to cut back on drinking, and carbonated beverages as well as higher sugar diet. Can't really change stress level. I don't think the issue is related to sexual activity.
Guys, be sure to see a doctor and get an ultrasound to rule out Test. cancer, STD's. If not it seems like the problem is likely related to lifestyle/diet.

I have the exact same symptoms - aching intermittent pain in the right testicle, similar pain spreading across the inside top of my right thigh, overall queasiness when it gets bad.
From reading this thread, I think the causes are: overweight (BMI=30, need to lose 30 lbs), tight clothes (related to overweight), sitting on my butt all day, and masturbating with my right hand about 1x/day, while sitting down.
The pain only comes while sitting in a chair or driving... once I start walking, either it goes away or I forget about it.
I'll give it a week of walking around more, masturbating less, drinking more water, and wearing looser pants and I expect that will do the trick. I like the posters who suggested garlic -- I love garlic, so any excuse to eat more is great.
