My 18 yr old daughter is scheduled for tonsillectomy & adenoidectomy tomorrow!!!!

They had told us 7 -10 days recovery which seems reasonable if a little optomistic. We are travelling to Europe in April - approx 1 month post surgery. I feel stupid but have only now realized the possible complications of cabin air pressure variations on healing scar tissue????? what's the deal? is there any impirical data on this subject?

Help.. asap... please
