Hello, I have been suffering from painful menstruation and I am not quite sure what us the reason. Doctor does not know what is wrong, everything appears to be ok, and there are no hidden infections. Doctor said that pain will go away and subdue after the pregnancy. I take Anaprox and I have been thinking if I might be allergic to this drug
It is possible because Anaprox is non steroidal anti inflammatory medication, with two basic effects, anti inflammation and analgesic effect. It can induce some allergic reactions, especially with first doses. There could be urtica, which is a mild thing; worse thing that could happen is a shock. So, if you notice some changes you should consider ending the treatment.
