Sorry but you are misinformed about the ambien, the memoery problems are from the ambien. Ive been an addict for 19yrs addicted to benzos and opiates and ambien has left me with a whole 24hr period of no memory at all of that 24hrs. It also states quit clearly not to mix suboxine with ambien this is something that should be left to the individuals doctor, please be carefull when you make a statement or statements like these, peaples lives are in the balance and your not a dr and since you were addicted only a year of your life your lucky but misinformed in the area of pharmacology and addiction, im only an addict with 19+ years of experience with these drugs not a doctor iether but i know enough to say dont make statements as if it were fact give only your opinion and experience is my advice.

You should not have any significant problems from an interaction between the buprenorphine (Suboxone) and the zolpidem (Ambien) when taking the two medications so far apart. But, if you have any concerns you should speak with the physician who is prescribing the two medications to you.

suboxone keeps me in tact. it keeps me from doing stupid stuff and from relapsing on opiate-based painkillers. it also keeps me satisfied and from wanting to do other drugs...without having an opiated high and nodding out. it also keeps my anxiety in tact for the most part. it works well with my supplements too...GABA, DLPA, and L-Tyrosine. i know if i wasnt on suboxone, id be eating any pill that would get me high..i was very crazy with 30 mg roxys and kratom powder. now i feel in control with suboxone. the only thing i dont like is ingesting naloxone everyday and its why i try to spit most of it out. i truly believe the sh*t is bad for your body. its the same sh*t as Narcan and that's only used when someone is overdosing on painkillers or heroin. it definitely is a great long term drug too. besides taking care of opiate withdrawal and cravings, it has anxiety-relieving and antidepressant properties too. it keeps me from all nasty drugs. it has saved my life. if i didn't have it, id probably either be in jail or kicked out of this house, still stealing, and just feeding my past habit more and more everyday.

Memory loss is absolutely from the ambien!!!. I've taken it for years and trust me ambien makes your brain not record sorta speak so because of that you don't remember much when you take the ambien. Try taking a little less like half a pill and your memory loss will be not as bad.

I wanted to share my experience since there is a lot of people on both sides of this debate here and maybe it will help. Is it safe? I don't honestly know. But I am prescribed both from the same doc 16mg sub/10mg ambiem per day. No problems like memory loss, sleep walking, or anything like that for me. But everyone is different. If different doctors are prescribing make sure they both know that would be the safest bet in my opinion.

I take 2 10mg Ambien every night right before I take my second 4mg Suboxone of the day (4mg in the morning/4mg at night). I can't lie,it will knock you the hell out. I find it to be a drowsy/nodding/slow-mo/couch lock high .Iv been on subs for 3 years and ambien for 2 years and have had my Ambien dose adjusted multiple times until my physician felt comfortable with the dosing he was prescribing. But for someone who isn't used to mixing these medications at such a high dose of Ambien or Suboxone without a doctors approval or observation ,I wouldn't go about doing it..
