Has anyone verified the salt water enema as working? I have heard that enemas and douches are not good to use because they remove fluids your body needs. I too have Sweaty Ass Syndrome (SAS) or what ive heard commonly referred to as trench crack. It started about 11 months ago when my girlfriend and I broke up. We used to have sex up to 9 times a day prior and I would sweat on my back and chest a lot but never from my anoos which always remained dry and pleasant smelling. Now I have been sexually inactive because i'd rather not deal with the BS of a relationship (have a lot more important things like SAS to worry about). I am slightly overweight but my ass leaks or sweats even when im sitting and doing aboslutely nothing like playing a video game or watching a movie or even sleeping. I can deal with waking up a little bit sweaty. But I cannot deal with waking up very sweaty in my ass. As with the initial poster I too see to have a poop residue. When I wipe the sweat out of my ass it leaves the TP tinted light brown as if I was wiping makeup or foundation off my face. This is extremely irritating as quite often the sweat spreads down to my taint and around my testicles. I shower daily and am desperately seeking a fix for this problem short of cutting my ass crack off or walking around with a towel or TP in between my ass cheeks. I have even contemplated shoving a tampon up my ass. Help me pls.

I also suffer from swamp ass. The best thing I've found for it is a tampon. Use an unscented one in the cheeks. I used to roll up toilet paper, but that would ball up and fall out. I've never lost a tampon or had it come apart.

Also, when I wipe I get some reddish stuff that is the cause of the smell (seriously I sniffed it once and wow never again). Its like a light red rash. I dont think its pinworms but I do think its a fungal infection.
Typically my ass will sweat when I either
1) Walk for about 10-15 minutes
2) Sit on a wood chair for an hour or a soft one for longer time frame
3) Masturbate, which will be instant.
Ever since I found this out (about a month or two ago) I've been washing with Gold bond or the soft soap or with wet wipes. Nothing has cured it.
I consider myself a cleansly person and I'm kinda PO"d that this had to happen, its embarassing but I bet its because of some of my anal hair.

I have the same problem, but it happens most when I need to pass a bowel movement. As soon as the need to poop comes on, I instantly start to sweat in my anal area and taint. Does anyone else have this problem? I use gold bond as well, but it wears off within a few hours. I also swear by moist wipes, but then that will leave moisture in the area. So I like to pat down with toilet paper after the wet wipes.
It's very itchy, and it dosen't help that I have hemorrhoid issues as well! Lately, I have felt multiple small rashes & pimple type raised bumps in the anal area. I think it is a type of chaffing associated with the excess moisture in the area the skin rubs.

I had no idea so many guys have the same problem as me. My ass only gets sweaty when I'm having sex. My girlfriend doesn't mind it, in fact she kind of likes it but I don't! It doesn't matter what position we're in; my ass will always get sweaty. I've tried using aftershave, aloe Vera lotion, rubbing alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, laxatives, hot tub therapy etc. and my ass remains to get sweaty during sex. I am in my mid 20's, active, and not fat so I am puzzled as to why my ass continues to get sweaty during one of my favorite activities. Thankfully I don't have a feces smell associated with this but any helpful tips as to how to cut down on ass sweat during sex is much appreciated. Most of the suggestions on the blog say to use baby powder or gold bond medicated powder but I don't want little nuggets of powdered clump to form on my ass during sex; having it sweaty is bad enough.

I have been going thru the exact same thing that most of you describe. I have been to 4 doctors, had crohns, IBS, fistulas and colitis ruled out. It is very annoying and makes talking to girls a little uncomfortable. Im 22 and gonna be starting to have real jobs soon, and it is a horrible thing to deal with. No one has any answers. It just sucks. Im a little out of shape, but by no means should this be happening. I eat fairly healthy, stay active and all that jazz. I get it when I drive and sit on a leather seat for to long, or plastic seat, wood seat, walking, sitting, basically everything. It's annoying. Anyone ever find something to help? :-(

I too suffer from SAS. I used to call it swamp ass, but SAS sounds so medical. I will not be trying an enema, since it sounds like you are trying to compensate for a bad diet. HERE'S WHAT I DO: purchase a shower head that has a detachable wand. When you shower, spread your butt cheeks and spray your ass for a few seconds. After washing your body with a washcloth the last thing you should do is scrub your ass, and rinse. Get out of the shower and wipe our ass with TP. I guarantee there will be no stain. Then powder your ass with some talc or "bath" powder. If you ever S%%t, go take a shower. If I s&&t on your hand would just wipe it off with TP- hell no. So why do you treat your ass the same way??

I suffered fromm itching, odor, and dampness in my crack. no matter how many times i wash it would still smell somewhat and get itchy and moist. I finally found a perscription antipersperant called drysol, it burned like hell the first time i used it because of how irritated i was down there but it solved my problem it works for days. the next time i applied it it burned far less because there was far less irritation from not having to itch my damp crack. the dampness went away, the itching went away and the smell went way. Drysol says not for use down there but i say a little burn well worth it.
