Hi Magi: I am VERY concerned about you still bleeding! When the did the reduction, they should have sewn the stiches tightly and cortorized the wound. Due to having this surgery done overseas, I am worried that the appropriate measures for cleanliness and post and pre op care were not taken. You treating the bleeding shouldn't be the case Magi, please go and have that checked out at a clinic ASAP. IF that area becomes infected you could be in real trouble! ALSO if they used equipment that wasn't fully disenfected, this bleeding could because of an infection. So the possibility of you getting a blood infection could be MASSIVE. Please go get checked out right away and let me know how things are OK? Good luck hon!

I have to agree with bambi27. This can easily get infected and you can have big problems. You need to see a doctor. You are in condition that you can not help your self at home. Please go to see a doctor. Keep us posted. All the best.

Even though you have had the surgery done abroad, I think that it's a good idea to see your local doctor to see what s/he can help you with the bleeding. It's not normal after a surgery to continue bleeding so it's something you should have taken care of as soon as possible, and like everyone else has said, you cannot treat this at home, nor should you. Please keep us posted as to how you're doing and how this goes for you. Thanks!

Hi bambi27 I had my labiaplasty surgery on the 19th of last month and I'm still bleeding at random times especially if there's pressure. The thing is (which is gross) it smells weird, not like period blood, but more like plaque from your teeth. I don't have any puss and the nurses just keep telling me it's normal. At first I was in a lot of pain but once the stitches (which are dissolvable stitches ) loosened up it felt a little better. I feel like I'm going crazy...what can I do for the itchiness and should I just demand to see my doctor?
