Should i have a labia reduction?

I know how you feel, my clitoral hood is a little large, when i can feel him moving it to get to my clitoris... and when it desensitizes any intimacy because its hidden behind a fold of flesh its upsetting.
But since I have found my boyfreind I have come to realise that genitals come in all different shapes and sizes! differenciation is NORMAL!

and beleive me the feeling is better than any surgery you could ever afford, I dont even think about it any more, because we were such good mates for so many years sex wasn't even considered on a physical level. it was emotional, spiritual.

you will find someone like that.

You shouldn't have body-altering surgery based on what other people think! you should love yourself! when you fall in love with the guy you want to spend the rest of your life with do you think he will care about the appearance of your labia?! of course not! even you can't even see it most of the time!!!

don't feel hurt by this insensitive guys actions. he probably was just in it for sex - guys can be cruel. the only labia a teenage boy has seen is the airbrushed designer ones in porn (- and beleive me, they are!). which are obviously not true to real life!!!
surgery is permanent, it leaves scars.
this assholes cruel remarks wont.

I have gotten it done few days ago, and its in process of healing, and I understand about feeling different and making you feel uncomfortable during sex, no matter how much in love you are, you might not even fall in love or make love b/c of this issue.
I would say if it will make you feel better then go ahead and do it, just do alot of research on it so you know what to expect

After 30 years I finally decided to get the labia reduction surgery.. I spent almost half my life thinking about it, worrying about it, wanting to change my labia. I hated oral sex bc i felt so self conscious. I was also in so much discomfort with bathing suits and underwear, especially thongs.. and now.. BOY O BOY!!! It was the BEST THING I EVER DID!!!! I call it my "designer Vagina" seriously, it was an uncomfortable surgery.. the pain lasted like a few days.. just take it easy and by 2 weeks, u will have to take a double take.. no more uncomfortability when your intimate and you will never feel uncomfortable in jeans or any tight pants ever EVER again! I was just wondering if dynastylife could give me some more information on her surgeon and where she got it done.I'm 19 and seriously considering the surgery!I a bit worried however as my job includes physical exercise. I could take 5 weeks off post op but that would be it and I would have to wear tight clothing after that. Do u think this would be long enough?please reply any advice you can give me would be greatly appreciated

I'm not sure how old you are, but I'm assuming teenage. You chose the wrong "boy" for your first sexual experience. That's the past, but learn from it. Sex should be experienced with someone who really cares about you and is committed to you. This would probably not be a teenage boy, even if he looks like a man. You should never consider surgery whose purpose is to be like everyone else. A real man will appreciate who you are and everything about you. First however, you have to be happy with yourself. If you're not, no one else will be. Your body is a gift. Don't share it with just anyone. Wait until that mature man comes along. You'll recognize him because he will be very different from the rest.

I got labia reduction surgery 3 years ago and have these tiny little hard pumps throughout my labia now. I thought they were sutures that did not dissolve, but they have not changed in 3 years. Has anybody else experienced this?

Kinda wish I just let myself be. Sigh.

I agree with helpisontheway 150%.
If your guy really cares for you he will not make disparaging comments to his buddies.
He should enjoy exploring your body and figuring out how to make it work best for your mutual pleasure as you should be doing for him.
I feel we read many more negative comments about labiaplasty than positive ones here.
It's nice to hear about dynastylife's positive experience.
Could it be that there are many others who had a positive experience and don't write about it?
The skill of the surgeon is of utmost importance but people do have different reactions to surgery also.

When I was considering a vasectomy, a guy I worked with had it done one morning and came back to work that afternoon. He was fine.

I went to our family doctor to have it done and it was not pleasant at all. As he was making one of the cuts he went beyond where the anesthetic had numbed and I had to make him give me another shot. Then when he was cutting the tubing it felt like he had a dull knife. It felt like he was doing it the way you cut a piece of rope with a pocket knife by making a loop and pulling the knife through it. When the knife is dull you have to kind of saw away at it. I wanted to offer to go get the wire cutters out of my truck for him.

Afterwards my scrotum swelled up the size of softball and turned all black and blue. I spent three days in bed with my legs spread as wide as I could get them, using ice packs. It hurt to even have the sheet on me. I wasn't able to work for over a week and it was still very uncomfortable then. So I had a very different reaction to this "minor" surgery than my work associate.

Funny side note: My wife, who locks the bathroom door when there's no one home but the two of us, had no second thoughts about bringing any of her female friends who came to visit her right on up to see me, while I was spread out naked like that on the bed. There was the 18 year old girl who was renting an apartment from us on the other side of our house. "How's he doing?" --- "Come on up and SEE him". Then there was my wife's 15 year old sister who wanted to get a close look at the incisions because she "was going to be a nurse". The girl who babysat for us. The girl who used to babysit for us. My wife has no shame at all when I'm the one who's naked. It's a good thing I don't.

Personally I find large labia's and clitoris to be very much a turn on. Why would anyone want it smaller? its like getting a penis reduction, or a salary reduction. Why would you ever want that. The bigger the labia the more of a turn on it is. Plus more for me to suck on.
Give me a large labia any day. Small ones aren't a turn on like large ones.

dont be self conscious about something is so amazing.  Having a large labia is a huge turn on.  They are amazing.  The bigger the better.  some guys search the internet for pictures of larg labias.  Its amazing.  If I was your boyfriend, Id lick and suck it until you came, and ask never to get it reduced.  Its like asking Dolly parton to get a brest reduction, or asking your boss for a pay cut.  Why would you want to, when what you have is the most amazing feature.

Would a model have plastic surgery to become more ugly ? same reason you shouldnt get a labia reduction.  Its a verry veryy good thing not a bad thing.

 

Ever heard any one say, "Im to much in shape, my muscles are to big, I want a beer gut"  NO.  Same reason here.

Girls use pumps to temporally make their labia and clit bigger, why would you ever want it smaller.

Search the internet for muscle girls.  They have the biggest clits, and labia, its purely amazing.  More to suck and lick.  ITs a very good thing not a bad thing.
