My 11 year old son is diagnosed with adhd few years ago and he is on behavioral treatment program frequently and is on adderall. And for the adderall usually caused him having side effects such as stomach upsets or insomnia I wonder now is there any success with biofeedback for adhd for I have heard it might help in reducing the symptoms such as anxiety and other adhd symptoms.

My kid also has adhd and he is also on frequent biofeedback treatments but I never thought of stop giving him meds or drugs for I don't think that biofeedback could cure adhd so basically success with biofeedback for adhd is manifested only in reducing the adhd symptoms, but that is enough also though I have met some docs saying that after prolonged biofeedback treatment of adhd healing success could be 100% meaning that adhd patients one day might be cut off of the drugs. It seems like you just need to be patient with these biofeedback treatment which brings the results very gradually by measuring brains electrical activity so by investigating those brain waves it is believed to be possible to affect its behaving and therefore control its activities. You might try it for it is not invasive and you won't miss the results but the meds are the must.
