My name is Sonya Dee and I just started the Maggie Drozd Method wich is not a diet per sey because they dont want you to change your eating habbits to loose weight and then resume bad eating habbits causing you to re-gain your weight. They use two dietary supplements, one is green tea, the other is 'spices' wich include some common spices like cayenne pepper and black pepper, ginger root, white willow bark to name the ones I remember off the top of my head. The green tea comes in 250 mg capsules I think and they suggest you take two in the morning and two in the afternoon. The "spice" capsules are taken one capsule twice a day with a meal and plenty of water. There is a regular health advisory that says to consult a doctor before starting the diet plan. The book that comes with the dietary supplements educates the reader on nutrition to help you eat wiser and healthier in the future. Irealize I have fairly unhealthy eating habbits and it will take me a while to change but I would like to eat more raw foods in the future, especially hemp foods, because hemp seed is the most complete food source on the planet. The book does reccomend that you get into a regular exercise regimine to increase your health, but to my knowledge this "diet" is not about drastic changes in your diet or excrutiating exercise. I would not have been interrested. You must remember that this Maggie Drozd Method was devised by a Swiss nutritionist, so, I would think they would naturally try to educate you on nutrition and exercise. I allready exercise by walking and doing my own form of yoga, Sonya's Ganja Yoga. I have been on the "diet" for 2 days and I am full of energy without being jittery and i am hungry without guilt for my food and a little direction and education under my belt regarding nutrition (by the way I read similar nutritional advice in the book FIT FOR LIFE). I have not dieted, I have actually increased my eating because I think either the green tea or the "spice" pills have increased my appetite. anyway, I am happy and very hopeful. I have not dieted, I still eat sweets,meats,cheese,and mayonayse, as a matter of fact, i have increased my eating because either the green tea or the "spice" pills have increased my appetite. They do not want you to temporarily change your eating habits, if you do, you will simply gain weight back when you resume bad eating habbits. they do educate you on nutrition, but changing your diet is not required, that's why I tried it that and it is all natural with no ephedrine(natural stimulant). I would have to reccommend this because it is working for me and all I am doing is taking the supplements and eating normally and alot, even sweets. it's wonderful. i have changd my eating and exercise patterns and have lost a few pounds here and there (i do slip up...), and i am thinking perhaps it is time for a safe "boost", if you will.
can anyone suggest anything?
