I never thought there was a problem with this until I realised almost all women have at least a little colour areola, I don't seem to have any colour at all around my nipples and my nipples only erect properly when they are touched, even then they only stays erect for a while, I can still see them when they haven't been touched, but they are only tiny. Is there something wrong with my breasts? And I have D cup breasts so I thought my nipples would be larger, I am very self concious about them. I have read that having very pale skin can lead to having pale areola's but again there doesn't seem to be any colour at all.

It's not that uncommon to have flesh colored nipples. I do photography on the side and I have seen more lightly to no color nipples/areolas than vastly different colors. Race plays a role in color between the skin and nipples, but you see a lot of variety and can't say conclusively then.
Unless you have inverted nipples, your nipples seem to be fine. Nipple size isn't connected to breast size, probably more likely to be similar to other women in your family. I wouldn't be self conscious about anything you've said, you sound like a healthy woman to me.

I am exactly the same way there is nothing wrong with you. And don't be embarassed about it. That is one of the features my fiance like best about be.

I haver the exact same problem, and I am sooooo selfconcious also. I hate it! I have a DD cup. I've been looking online to see if theres any corrective surgery, have you heard anything?

many different issues here
a) the nippel size: I have the impression that it is not uncommon that larger breasts have smaller nipples; look around you in the chaning rooms, you might find the same; also, for those girls I can speak with about these things, generally these small nipples are hard less often and lack sensitivity
b) the areola colour: there are dark coloured, light coloured and skin coloured; I have once seen a girl with rose coloured nipples whose areolas faded into the skin colour and I found that extremely beautiful
c) the areola size: if you have no visible areola it may also be that you don't have an areola at all or a very small one; this is also beautiful I think
