What drugs do you think are the best for lower back pain? I have always had a weak spot on my lower back but I am under the distinct impression that my lower back pain is increasing with age. I am on my feet a lot during my work, so that doesn't help either. If you can give me any recommendations I would be grateful.

With the complaints you are describing, I have to say that codeine comes to mind as a drug that could help you gain some relief from pain. Living with chronic lower back pain is no walk in the park. Back pain is a serious condition - the most common one, actually - and I am sure your doctor will give you a prescription if you pay him or her a visit.
