Hey,

I have these too...
I had eye checkup and was told that everything is normal and these are floaters.

However, these are more regular now and do not go away. When I stare at them, they fade away.

Any clues whether these can be still termed as floaters?

Yes, I was tested as being pre-diabetic with a fasting blood sugar level of 118 some time back.

hi everyone, i don't know if i have to be scared or not. i have searched for answers for the spots im seeing. i dont know what to do. others says i have to live with it but some says i need to see a doctor. this spots started after i bumped my head. it was pretty hard. but im still searching for something else. before that incident, i have this weird vision. its my eyesight, imagine a water in a bowl, bigger bowl so that you can imagine clearly and try to move the bowl with water in it. the water moves too right.. when you look at the water on the bowl swirling back and forth. i can see that water around my eyesight. what is that? i dnt understand what it is. and now this floaters.. can anyone help?

I have been having the same problems. All of a sudden I'll see black spots just swirling around in midair. Even if I blink, they don't go away. Eventually they do. But then within the next 5 days this happens again. I was kind of amused when it first happened. I found it fun to watch. :-P But now, I am getting more concerned about it. I do not take drugs or drink alcahol. Not only am I having the problem with the black spots, but also whenever I look at somebody and then look away, I see the outline of the figure I was previously looking at. I asked someone about this, and they said that it's normal, if you blink in between. Well, I tried to not blink while doing it, and it happened again. I'm not near or farsighted, and other than these odd things I have good vision. I wonder what's going on...?

Hey,

I am 16 male and have been seeing floaters for 3 years. They have gotten worse and there is about 50 in each eye if i squint. I also have a spot in my left eye that i can not see anything (its like a white piece of paper) and it really annoying. I have gone to eye doctor but he said my eyes were as healthy as can be. But what made me question is that he cant see what i am seeing and he has no idea. Also I have light sensitivity, like on the way to school while driving if i glance as the reflection ia car the look a way there is a black spot that is there for about 5 mins then it goes away

PLEASE HEEELLLLPPP!!

Do I have Glaucoma? I am fit and healty

Than kyou

I'm replying to the guest that's 19 years old who did DXM and smoked cannabis and has been ONLY experiencing the black dots(floaters) for a couple years.
I've had this black dot since i was practically born but never bothered to question it until I just asked myself "u know I'm pretty sure everyone doesn't have this"...what if it's something dormant that will potentially be deadly!?!? WHAT THA EFFFF!!!
Anyways after my miniature freak out i looked up "seeing black dot in your vision" and came across this link. I to sir am 19 and have been experimented with drugs for sometime since my freshman year leading up to a year outta school where i've tried alcohol, weed, diphenhydramine(benadryl), DXM, shrooms, LSD, ketamine, JWH-200(K2), "bath salts" aka synthetic amphetamines, METH(once), cocaine, embalming fluid(PCP), absinthe, Dramamine, variation of pills like hydros, methadone, ect.
As u can see I've done a magnitude drugs but i have never had an increase of multiple dots...it actually decreased in size about a year and a half ago. So I really don't know what the f**k is up...not proud of what I've done but at least i can say I've had multiple variations of an altered perspective. Experimental purposes only but I've had my share of addiction with DXM as well, it's really a class of it's own.

i am 33 years old i have been seeing these floaters for a few years now, in my experience these seem to disapate when its dark or i just cant see them as much, but never less they are always there..I dont think they are coused my drugs or allergys or anything like that as i dont do drugs and only have small allergies.. i have had what they call an ora migran, witch is i almost go blind then BANG  my head is splitting a cord of wood when that happens my vision is restord, but im in alot of pain. Now i have not had one of these in a while, it could be the couse of it i dont know, but non the less ive noticed they get worse.. i have no medical insurence so just goin to the doc, who the hell can afford that, but i have been saving for it and am going soon.. i am a father of 3 my youngest is less then a year old, frankly it scares the hell out of me that if it gets worse i wont be able to see my boy grow, so im goin, i also dont believe that a pill might help   but more its an imbalance somewhere so thats where im going to start and see what happens... theres more i can say but im ending it there...  ***this post is edited by moderator *** *** private e-mails not allowed*** Please read our Terms of Use

Hey Guys,

I am 35 and just barely started seeing one small black smudge like dot in my vision. I see it usually when I look up at a cloudy blue sky. I heard that eating red bell peppers raw can replenish some of the cells in the eyes is this true do you think it could help?

Hello, im 21 and I have had problems with migraines since I was young, there's times when I can't hear or see, and the black dots show up right before I can't see. My migraines have caused my right ear to bleed quite a few times, I have no understanding of why this is happening, what is happening, and whats wrong, and Idk who to see about it, or anything, is there someone out there who can help me?
