some doctor told me that in terms of constipation lifestyle is one of the biggest factor that comes within these kind of problem, he told me that "when your body is lazy, your GI activity will also become lazy". So what I did was do a little bit of exercise like walking and jogging, and things that increases my metabolism.

I'm 29, I' ve been bleeding from the rectal after a bowel movement for a couple of years now. I went and saw my doctor, got my colon checked, had blood test and an X-ray. The doc said tests were normal. Bleeding comes and goes. I can go months without bleeding and then for a couple of weeks every time I use or every so often. My wife.says it could be internal hemroids, I'm thinking about using pep-h to see if that will fix the problem once and for all. But one thing I have noticed is that the bleeding usually happens after a night of drinking or if the stool is dark and hard. Also my work involves sitting at a desk for hours at a time. I'm thinking of start using a donut pillow. But like some else mention drink more water. Hope everyone here can solve their problem. I know how scary it can be looking in the toilet and the tp and seeing blood all over the place. One night I actually had to leave work and go to the ER thinking I had internal bleeding. But that ER doc suggested the same thing as my wife did, could be internal hemroids.

I realize telling someone to see a doctor is a no brainer but when someone that young doesnt tell their parents you start to worry. I have children that age & I wouldnt want that kept from me & find out later it was too late!

This happened to me, too. I'm only 12, though and I haven't had my period yet... I'm kind of getting nervous because it was kind of a lot of blood. Am I supposed to go to the doctor?

I started having light bleeding(just a tiny stain) every time after defecation at age 15 from anal. I can only see them through the toilet paper. It's not as serious that it will make the whole toilet bowl red. I'm now 17. I still have the same problem. I told my mom when I was 15. She said it might not be something serious, so just ignore it.. What do I do? :( I know it's not something to ignore..but, I've no adults to help me out.

Dont rely on what happened to other people... as you can see from the answers most of them are all different... Call your doctor and if your too scared  then deal with what happens to you later...
