I am 27 year old female. Twice now after a bowel movement I've had bright red blood. Minimal but enough to alarm me. No pain. I've also had cramping feeling like contractions in my abdomen(im not pregnant). Lately cramping in my lower right side front and also lower right side of back. Does anyone know what this might be?

Hi Angel,

It's difficult to say if the cramping is related to the blood.  They can both be caused by hemorrhoids.

I'd suggest you see your doctor to be sure.
