Hi,
A freind of mine who is 32 and an asthmatic came over today very worried as he has been told he is to have an MRI on his brain due to waking up in pools of blood, temporary blindness, and pressure in the skull (although non-painful). He seems to be very worried that it is life threatening although they are not rushing him in for the scan. In fact, he was in last week and they still haven't sent appointment and I know people who are in the same day or next if dr's in UK feel it is life threatening.
He had pnemonia a couple of weeks ago and has been going through a very stressful and awful divorce. They said this might be the cause of the symptoms. I told him if it were very serious they would have done the scan straight away and not to worry too much. What other causes can cause these symptoms as it doesn't appear to be in line with brain tumors etc and unsure of other things that could be life threatening.
Thank you for your help.

it sounds like his situation is stressing him out hardcore, he needs to step back and take some time out for himself, it's literally killing him! that's my view on the situation, at least.
