Hello,

I am a 31 year old male who is sexually active.  Recently, I have noticed very small (approx. 1MM) blister like bumps that appear to be pimples all over my groin/genital region.  I understand that there are many posts like this, but hopefully you can shed some light due to the exact nature of their symptoms.  Thus, I have two currently on my penis head, a few scattered around my shaft and top of the genitals and most recently had one on my testicular sac and at the top of my groin area (where the the band of my boxers reach).  I have had all of the STD tests (including HSV-2) which have come back negative but am still concerned with these.  Also, I have visited my doctors and have been prescribed fungal creams which have not helped the issue.  Here are the symptoms:

- Red
- Very small.  Approximately 1-2MM.
- Shiny appearance (sometimes look like a whitehead)
- Do not itch
- Do not hurt
- Can be popped/squeezed (I know this is wrong to do due to infection) which then produces a hard material that looks white, seems to be a "ball" of material and also seems to have a tail.
- After squeezed, it is almost as if they leave a hole in my body of which it starts to bleed and once it is done, it looks like a red pin prick at the site of occurrence.

Any information would be most helpful.  Considering they are scattered not only on the penis and genitals, but also at the waistline, I am wondering if they could be sexually transmitted?

Thank you.

you should quit having sex for good two weeks or more so you can see what will happen on the sides with the problem

if they are shiny it sound like it may be shingles. If you did not have chicken pox as a kid however, then it is something else as the chicken pox virus is when will evntually cause shingle. If not I don't know what it could be other than acne.

It could just be genital acne. You can get acne anywhere on your body including the groin area. Im' a black male and recently had two pimples on my groin- one in my inner thigh and another where pubic hair was. I used lots of antibacterial soap when in the shower each day and over the past two days the pimples have just about disappeared. Use antibacterial soap and scrub but leave the soap in the area where your pimples are for at least 3 to 5 minutes. Hope that helps!
