When your erect and pushing the penis forward is when it dose it. opening a vessel or something it does this to me. Everytime I have sex putting the penis in a strain by pushing it downward when erect.

I am 50 yrs old and I just started having the same issue. I've had a CT scan, camera up penis but urologist couldn't find anything other than saying my prostate is a little enlarged. I take a baby aspirin & Lovastatin (for high cholesterol) daily. Not sure if either of these are causing the problem?

its funny how all these years i have had this problem (i think 2009) and it never occurred to to me until you made this point that EVERY time it has happened to me i have done the same thing with pushing it downward. i think you are onto something here!

i also belive that is has something to do with the pressure of inserting your penis when having sex and also I notice a lot of blood after having intercourse in a position where am pushing it downward after finishing a huge bloodclot to pee out sometimes even take several tries to get it out but I do notice that the urine gets color by the bloodclot thus making it look like were peeing blood but idk what could be causing this I just know those clots sting sometimes when there real big to piss out

What can I use to stop it?

don't worry it's just a bladder infection I am going through the same problem if you don't like medication and pills a natural remedy is cranberry juice it basically makes you pee more and flush out the bacteria it's also good to drink plenty of water at least 2 litres of water a day is good for your body its also good to meditate when your feeling discomfort and pain it helps you forget about your pain and makes you feel allot better

One thing that helped me is before sex I drank a lot of water. Then immediately after sex I would go to the bathroom to go pee. It would be lightly discolored with almost no clots. If there were clots they were almost non visible. I believe the clot forms from the blood sitting for some time inside your body.

Same thing has happened to me it would happened after drinking and having sex but today is the first time it happens with out drinking any alcohol. When clogged I had to use penicillin pills to unclogged it felt like I wasbgoinh to explode but nothing would come out until after I took penicillin pill

First of all thanks for this thread, I hope it will be kept alive. It helps a lot to know we are not alone, it's reassuring, some post are nicely written and give a smile :)

My situation: blood when sex, all the time big clots and mandatory to go to hospital to get the thing in and get the blood out - no pain at all, and then all is ok 6 hours after. No blood while masturbating, and no blood during night time sperm (don't know how to say it in english, but if you dont do anything for a week - then sperm has to come out ... usually during night).
I give below the feedback I received from various eminent and well known urologist in France, Canada and Switzerland (I'm French native). I repeat it's the feedback I RECEIVED - thus might be not at all inaccurate for you ... or might be :)

It started age 24 for me - blood after sex. Did all possible check up in the world (MRI, CT, SCAN, cystoscopy, endoscopy ... ) i have a small kist on the prostate and a really really tiny black thing in the baller (kind of mark).
They have run crazy tests on my (like getting the camera up inside the baller while getting exited to see where blood comes and so) but nothing.
They also tried to cauterise the mucus of the urethrae in hope it will help.

All those lasted 3 month in total during which my fiance left me - thus when i was suppose to be cured - I could not try sex anymore. And i'm not the kind of guy to go for pickups or one night stand, so it took me 2 years and half to find another girl to have sex with. 2 first times we had sex, no blood (forgot i had this f..... thing) and third time, it came back.

All experts consulted again - they all agree that we could run other tests, try other things (like going around prostate to catherine and so) but what they all accord on is: it's life, too bad it's on you, we can't cure it because most of the time, it's a tiny f.... vessel that is super weak, and when it burst on specific occasions (remember, I have no blood while masturbating nor night time sperm) it create blood until it stops by itself.

I tried to summarise what you all guys have written as possible solutions and brought it to those experts, they think vitamin will not help, and the best is to leave with it. If you are lucky blood is not WITH the sperm so you can still have kids - if not, then on my case i can masturbate and think about IVF ...

They gave me pills that reduce the blood that would come from down there - so at least i would not be stuck with clots and could maybe enjoy my life (i'm now 30...) - 2 pills before sex, 2 after sex - they also recommended drink a lot BEFORE and AFTER - so the blood can't really make clots as it's all wet everywhere ... and to go straight to the WC after sex. Also, sex should not be long, the longer it last, the more clots there will be.

I can't tell if pills will work ... as I said i'm not on pick ups or one night stand and as you probably know it's a nightmare with that illness to get a girl that would understand ... so if im lucky within a couple of years i will find someone and then try the pills - and will let you know.
