I've just had this problem reoccur after 5 years. The first time it happened was after vigorous sex with my then girlfriend. The sight of blood red urine and the clots was alarming. I went to a free clinic and the doctor said that I had torn a blood vessel somewhere in my penis along the urethra. She had seen plenty of it and said it was nothing to be alarmed about and that it would heal over time. It did, in a month or two.
Now, after vigorous sex, its back and I'm taking it in stride, but I haven't had any of the blockages that others mentioned in this thread, or I would be more concerned.

I have the same condition of clots during attempts to pee. But it only happens after getting oral sex. I am wondering if oral sex itself might be the cause.

im still having the issues but now its just sperm not urine. doctor said to be tested for STD's because it might not be the problem but those tests can help outline other issues. as myself and my partner have been cleared of this before but we do stuff with stolen underwear which if they have something then bam we get it. its something we never thought about before but something well looking into.

sh*t happened to me too after sex I think it was because of viagra though I took one 100 mg pill and had sex with this female for like two hours with about 3 water breaks as I was driving home I went to the bathroom and saw that sh*t come out of my penis I haven't seen it since I think it was a uti at least I hope. I may have caught a bacteria cuz i screwed her in the butt for a couple of seconds and put it back in her juicebox. but I also took some creatine, which had nitric oxide which dilates your vessels as well as some amino acid chews which have arginine which is a precursor of nitric oxide as well I done think I will ever take viagra again
PLEASE HELP

im 21 and ive been having a similar issue off and on since last june (its currently march of the following year) it first started bout 2 weeks after i had some "fun" with a gal pal. i dont have a STD as i went and got tested after it got really bad and i got scared because of it. it seems to happen mostly after i masturbate. usually its a small clot type thing that comes out shortly after starting to urinate or is extremely painful. ive been drinking ALOT more water and now and then have a "beer night" with the guys which, well if you have ever had a lot of beer you know what that does to your bladder and how quickly/often it fills. from what ive read everywhere its more than likely prostatitis where your prostate is just inflamed or has a mild infection thus causing discomfort with urination and ejaculation as well as the occasional blood. ive tried going without "self pleasing" for 4-5 days and noticed that the blood ceased but the pain didnt..... i have health insurance and everything but i dont have much money and a huge deductible that and with me living with family id rather not have them know that im having issues.... any suggestions?

I'm 37 and last month about an hour after 'self pleasure' first noticed blood when I would begin to urinate for the first second or two (referred to as 'gross hematuria'). After an absolute panic, I began to research the topic, and came across this blog, which was a big help in keeping my sanity. It appeared clear that in all cases of blood in the urine it was necessary to have a doctor exam, so I made an appointment that day with my primary care Dr. The Dr. checked for a Urinary Tract Infection, with a urine sample, which later came back negative. The bleeding ended after about 12 hours, but the Dr. wanted to do a CT scan, as part of a 'work-up' to further testing, which was to conclude with a referral to a urologist for a Cystrogram examination. Initially, I was concerned that the CT was likely not going to show anything (ie. cancer), but would only result in unnecessary radiation (ie. the amount of about 200 X-rays given that 2 CT scans are needed to get a contrast). Instead, I requested a referral directly to a urologist for a second opinion. At my appointment with a urologist I was candid regarding the circumstances and symptoms, and he agreed that given my age, and the fact that the symptom was 'gross hematuria' (as opposed to consistently pink urine, which would have indicated blood originating in, or prior to, the bladder) it was likely not caused by the kidneys so would not require a CT scan. Instead, he did a prostate exam, and recommended a Cystogram. I had the Cystogram exam last week, which was not much more fun than the prostate exam. At least the results came back clear, and the urologist's opinion was that it was likely the result of a broken blood vessel. His recommendation was that if I have any return of the bleeding to check back with him. I'm only passing on my experience to try to provide some relief to the person who is in panic from a similar situation. In the end, I'm glad I went to the doctors, but at the same time, am glad that I was candid, researched, and asked the tough questions to avoid any unnecessary testing. Good luck to the other members of this unfortunate club who might be reading this in panic!

how many of you have the gout or highly acidic blood level??? because the gout crystal destroys blood vessel all over the body, i believe what so of us are going through its a weak blood vessel from to much pressure in and on or binding of the penis ,where the blood roll back and settles where the urethra intersect with the bulbourethral (cowpers) gland it sit there and mix with pre-cum or the full load, until you take a piss, to clean out you urethra track.. that where the clot is formed ... i believe the (Corpus Spongiosum) has to strong of a blood presser for the urethra and it self...how many of you"ll have super wood when erect ...like above normal and ask you woman where she rate you... hardness that is.. p.s... rob from 11mths ago said he had polyps near or on his prostate...if anyone have anymore n4 on the polyps please let us know
Penile Erection, enlargement, hardening, and elevation of the male reproductive organ, the penis. Internally, the penis has three long masses of cylindrical tissue, known as erectile tissue, that are bound together by fibrous tissue. The two identical areas running along the sides of the penis are termed Corpora Cavenosa; the third mass, known as the Corpus Spongiosum , lies below the corpora cavernosa, surrounds the urethra—(a tube that transports either urine or semen),—and extends forward to form the tip (or glans) of the penis. All three masses are sponge like.....
