Please could i have some advice. The past teo weeks my huspand has suffered from a blood shot eye. Even though it is not causing him pain, it is causing him concern. Could anyone give me some advice?

Usually it is nothing serious-at least that is what my doc told me when I went to check what was going on with my eyes and why they turned red.
He didn’t find anything and said that it is often the smoke or dry air or dust that can cause this but it could also be an allergic reaction.
He said that if blood vessels in eyes turn red it is a sign that the body is healing.
He said I should ask for eye drops in a pharmacy and come back if the redness persisted.
