i am going through the same situation i believe. i had my period and i didnt get to shower in 2 days, then i shaved. and at first there was just one bump, and then by the next day there was alot. a couple of my lips on my vagina and then around my anus. im not completely sure what ti is. because i am a virgin, but i do still do sexually things with people, but the last person i did anything sexual with i dont believe has this issue. im starting to believe its herpes? but i am not completely sure? someone help please :[

Sorry to say this, but, it does sound like Herpes. You should most definitely go to the doctor and get an STD test. You need to know for yourself about your health condition. Look up on the web for pictures of Herpes and maybe you will feel a little more comfortable to get checked.

basically i have a small spot under my vagina which is near my but too so its a very awkward place for me, it swells up when i have tried to pop it and hurts when i touch it , its red blood came out it looked like it had white but im nit sure cos it was a awkward place i rely couldn't see and im a virgin so it cant be a std and i shave down there and so im not sure what it is and how to get rid of it

ok so im 24, married and have 2 kids...i think i first time i got one of these things it was after i had my second child. i think that was about the time i started to use tampons instead of pads. i was FREAKED out and told my husband something was wrong, we still had relations but i couldnt take the pain of something rubbing against it. the first thing i thought was STD and i thought he had cheated! it went away but ever since then i get them like every 2 or 3 months.... after reading what you guys have posted i feel a lot better about it just being a boil, and nothing to serious. im still going to ask the doctor about this and just make sure i shouldn't be scarred. once i find out more i will respond again and keep you guys up to date. for now im going to try the warm cloth and see how that works.

Cists and boils are something that, unfortunately, run in my family. So I have had to deal with them practically my whole life. Usually a cist does not go away on it's own and has to be cut out by a doctor.
A pimple or ingrown hair in very sensitive spots like the underarm or vagina will commonly turn into a boil due to infection. I know it sounds nasty. One of the worst things you can do to a boil is pick at it!!! I know it hurts and I know you want all the pus and blood out but picking at them will usually just make them worse and/or spread and cause other boils to form. This is why some of you are noticing that after you drain one you get more.
What I usually do is soak in a hot bath twice daily for half an hour, if you aren't someone who gets viginal infections often feel free to use epson salt. The boil will open on its own (in most cases). When it does this just try to keep the drainage cleaned up without over cleaning yourself. If you do this for a week and it does not open or get better I highly suggest seeing a doctor.

same thing happened too me. i have been looking it up online. because i had a HUGE pimple on my vaginal area, and soo i popped it. wen i looked at the white stuff that came out of it it had a little peice of rolled pubical on it. so now i'm thinking that if the white bacteria in the pimple touched another spot on my Vagina that it will spread. I really dont want or need a pimple filled vagina. because then it is going too get Scarred and sex will be humiliating in the future. Can anyone tell me a medicine that will get rid of this? in the case that it occurs again? im still embarrassed to tell my mom. Because she would probably take me to a doctor and I dont enjoy opening up my legs for a doctor to see. soo my Point if anyone knows a Vaginal Pimple curing medicine please post.

wow this is very interesting... embarrassing as this will be for me to say, i was masturbating tonight, and i noticed a hard lump on the lip of my vagina, the inner lip... i got freaked out, i payed to much attention in health class in high school... i started looking up std's to see if i could find anything that relates to wat this looks like... it's just a small red bump under the skin... a link for this page came up while i was searching... and now you've all got me freaked out... i've had very few sexual encounters, and i've made sure to use protection each time... i got one of these once before, but just once... i popped it with a safety pin, and drained the fluids that came out, pus and blood... i washed it with hot soapy water, rinsed it thoroughly, and it went away by the next day... it's been like two years since then, and i just found one on my vaginal lip tonight... i did the same thing... if it was herpes would it not show for years at a time?

hi I just want to say it is still possible to get herpes even if you have never had sex.
For cold sores and Genital herpes are the same thing. If you were to touch a cold sore and not wash your hands and then touch yourself in the vagina area it can cause you to get Genital herpes..

I agree with everything this person has said except for the soap. Just water does not kill infection, and considering the area you have to be careful what you use. Use an antibacterial soap or at least a soap that does not have perfumes in it. As for the Vicks Vapor Rub, read the instructions it flat out tells you not to use in that way so you probably caused more irratation using that. As for nobody wanting to see the doctor, ppl that is what they are for. You need to not be scared of the doctor and go see them or at least call them and ask what you should do. Remember the only person that can help you is you. That means you do everything possible to keep yourelf healthy.
