How are you feeling now? I had mine placed on Thursday, 3/16/17. The first few days I couldn't feel it except while eating. I just tried to chew my food really well before swallowing and that seemed to help a little. The testing period ended Saturday and since last night (Sunday) I have felt a constant pain and tugging behind my sturnum. It woke me a few times in the middle of the night and took me a while to fall back asleep. I'm hoping it falls off soon. Not sure I can deal with this for another week if it stays consistent.

Hi, I had it done on Friday 3-17-17 along with endoscopy and colonoscopy. Once I got home and tried to eat something I could feel the pain when the food passed the capsule. Tried to eat soft foods like bread, oatmeal and eggs. It was like the food hit the capsule and then it moved over and passed it and I could feel it all. Next day pain was more so sticked with liquids like broth and smoothie and some applesauce. Then yesterday it was more painful. Woke up feeling the pain and even water, just swallowing and sitting I can feel the damn thing clipped on. And the 48 hours is over and I'm not even getting credit for this torture! It's now Monday morning and the pain swallowing is even worse. It's lasting longer and intensity when food passes takes my breath away. Literally. Pray that it falls off soon.

My friend you are dealing with too little stomach acid. The problem is you need more stomach acid to break down a nd digest your food. The no. 1 reason for gerd sufferers is too little stomach acid not the other way around. Hcl with Pepsin after meals containing protein. Start with one for a few days then increase slowly until you feel a warm feeling in your stomach and then back off to the previous dose. Good luck

my son had this procedure done on April 17, 2017 it is now 48 hours later and he still can't eat, drink or even swallow without it hurting. I don't see how a doctor can make an accurate diagnosis if you can't eat. I would not recommend this to anyone at all. nothing was prescribed to help with the pain. The doctor didn't even call back when I called the office. Who knows if he was even given the message. Well I sure hope this thing falls off and passes soon so he can get back to normal living, because this is miserable for both of us.

I had the bravo capsule implanted on Friday, 23June 2017, and it HURTS! My chest area is in pain and it hurts like crazy to eat. I'm so done! I hurt all the time and can't sleep due to the radiating pain in my chest area. Wow!

Had it done today. It does hurt! Not liking this. Called and was told to eat soft foods. I don't see how eggs and oatmeal are going to give me symptoms they can use to diagnose my reflux.

I know I'm replying to an old post, but I had the Bravo capsule done this past friday, today is Monday and the pain is unbelievable! It literally feels like a heart attack! Forget eating or drinking! Was told there might be a little discomfort. Lord, I pray this dislodges soon. But after some research, have read where it can take up to a month! If surgical removal is required, it will leave an ulcer.
