hi im really worried as ive just this minute ago discovered im losing a brown,redy discharge. now im getting that familiar dragging aching feeling when you feel your period is due. ive had thrush,used two pesseries and it still feels uncomfortable,also ive been getting a slight burning and stinging when passing urine. ive lost a stone in weight over the pass six months and im scared.i know i should go to the doctors but im dreading they send me up the hospital for that awfull test where they insert a small telescope into you and into your like womb. heard this can be very painfull. im thinking of the worse hear,like cervical cancer.could this discharge be something else i wonder?

Hi there, I am pretty sure that this discharge that you are experiencing is likely part of the post menopausal process but if you are concerned about it would be a good idea to check. I am sure that it is more than likely not cervical cancer but you should still have it looked at just to be sure. I'm sure it would be unpleasant if they sent you to the hospital but it is better to know than to be worried, right? Let me know what you think.
