my boyfriend has a bump on is upper inner thigh about 2-3 inches from his groin area. it looks like it is filled with something but he says he can't feel it. it is red and started out looking like a zit or an ingrown hair. it is about 1/4 inches now and seems like it is getting bigger. any ideas what it is. it doesn't sound like herpes because there is only one and he can't even tell that it is there. please help.

Your boyfriend’s bump is probably an ingrown hair. But when you say that he doesn’t feel it, do you mean that he can’t fell it at all or only when he doesn’t touch it? Ingrown hair then to get infected so the substance that you think this bump is filled up might be puss caused by the infection. The best thing would be to clear this puss out from the bump and try to keep the bump as clear as possible. The good thing is that he doesn’t feel any pain at all, but my guess is that he will notice some pain in a day or two. Did he had any earlier ingrown hairs in his pubic area?
