Hello. I'm 23 year old male and I have some problems to discuss with you. You see, about five days ago I have noticed that I have some bumpy pimples on my pubic are that wasn’t there before. I don’t have these pimples on my scrotum or my penis.
I have read some facts about genital herpes and it looks to me like I have all the symptoms of it. I admit, I had unprotected sex several times in a past few months but all with my girlfriend which has no symptoms what so ever.
It has become a big worry for me as I do not know if this is some kind of STD.

Well, what you have described could be almost anything because several sexually transmitted diseases are causing the same thing. You have mentioned that your girlfriend does not have any symptoms so I don’t think you suffer from herpes and to be honest-none of this sounds particularly herpes-like, though.
The red areas and bumpiness may well be just irritation or variants of normal. You didn’t mention do you shave this area because it can occur if you shave your pubic area with un-clean razor.
So, I believe you suffer from prominent sebaceous glands. I'm pretty sure it's nothing, but do not take my word for it.
Contact your urologist and spear your self from worry.
