I had my tonsillectomy on Monday November 24th. I just started experiencing a strange burning on my the back or side of my tongue on the right side and in back of my throat. It is literally driving me nuts. I can't eat pretty much anything without irritation even water hurts. It started happening one week after surgery on the Monday. The doctor thought it was Thrush put me on antibiotic for yeast infection on Monday. Today is Wednesday I am done with those pills are still Burning like crazy. The only thing I can eat is popsicles. Anyone know what this is? And what I can do? HELP! :-( ? !
