Im 17 and when i was 16 only jsut started pulling back my foreskin which i know is bad and should of started younger, but obvs my parents are not very sufficient in that area! I have a tight forskin which i can pull back (just) when floppy but very difficult when erect and can only pull back about quarter/half the way. i get a build up of smegma which i clean as much as i can, but this is difficult as its sensative to touch my penis head. But, despite all this, when i was in the shower i was like lets try masturbating and pulling my penis back further as ive already been cleaning it. So i start etc blah blah. After finishing i look at my penis making sureits as clean as i can get it, and my penis head had almost, small burst blood vessels, and i wondered if this was a problem, or will be a problem in the future and whether it will go away. comments appreciated!
p.s im scarred to visit a doctor 1. because im shy and 2 becasue i dont want my parents knowing

Hello,
I have a problem. Recently i believe I bursted a blood vessel on my penis and i have been freaking out. I feel as if my penis has become a bit numb and it is mostly in the "head". Underneath the "head" where the blood vessel eneds, it is starting to become a different color like purple. Maybe it's all in my mind but i hope it cures naturally knowing that broken blood vessels cure on their own. Also, i have'nt been able to have a full erection. I'm hoping it all has to do with the broken blood vessel and not enough blood flowing through the penis. Please Help! What should i do?

I would say if anyone has problems with this then start slow(pulling back the foreskin all the way). After doing it a few times it may get dry, so you need to keep it moisturized. Of course, it will also be ultra-sensitive for never having direct contact.

Broken blood vessels may be inevitable, depending on how much the foreskin constricts. It is important to stretch the foreskin slow, as to avoid cracked skin. Message the areas of broken blood vessels(like a bruise) to reduce visability. If condition worsens, or is accompanied by pain and pain is persistent, please contact your physician.

Tips:

Start slow. Pull foreskin back till its comfortable, but you are still making progress with stretching it. Also, start non-erect. When you can sufficiently do this, then try it when erect. The use of lubrication may help, look up some safe alternatives to personal lube if you don't have any(lotions make irritate this area, especially scented/perfumed lotion on cracked/broken skin).

If broken skin occurs, stop for a few days. I found the use of a little petroleum jelly every once in a while to reduce the irritation from broken skin. When you feel you can continue, do so. The use of lubrication can reduce the chances of broken skin.

For any other readers, it is extremely important to instruct safe habits at a young age.
The solution shouldn't be to mutilate the penis/cut parts off.

I also had a problem when I started pulling my skin back. I'm not sure how this happened but I had a pain about halfway down my penis and I had a tiny red spot inside the skin. About a day later the pain had gone but my head started swelling with blood (the head was about 3 times the size). I went to the doctor and the doctor said I had a burst blood vessel. She said take some paracetamol. (i can't temember how often) I went home and took 2 tablets and a few hours later the swelling had completely gone. But you should go to a doctor. Please don't be embarrassed. Also My head was sensitive to touch as well and I went to the doctor for that and I was diagnosed with thrush. I was given some cream to get rid of it.
