Hello, I would like to know something concerning my father’s health. He is 60 years old and unfortunately, ahs been a diabetic for two years now. Well, he did started living healthy since he was diagnosed and I guess that is a good thing. Still, I am concerned for his health, He also has rhinitis problems but his doctor never prescribed him with decongestant. Can diabetics use decongestants for nasal congestion?

Well, I think I have heard somewhere that decongestants might raise sugar level in the blood and you do know that is the last thing we want to do to a diabetic. So I assume he should be using some other meds, such as aspirin. It might not be as helpful, but it has its effects that will help your father for surely.
