I am new to this forum. I seek your advice on Sinusitis and whether nasal sprays are effective in combating Sinusitis.

It all depends on what is causing the inflammation of the sinus cavity and whether it is acute or chronic sinusitis. Most over the counter decongestant nasal sprays help temporarily, for a few hours and they should not be used more than few days because they can cause even more irritation. Others are corticosteroid nasal sprays that are used to reduce the inflammation, but still it might be necessary to use some additional decongestants. But,a s I said, it all depends on whether the cause is allergy, bacterial, fungal infection or something else.
