Hi,
I'm a 13 year old girl who has ocd soon I will go to the doctors and get a proper diagnosis and start treatment however I'm scared to go to the doctors as I'm aware it will go on my medical records this is a problem because I would like to go into Mental heath or Social working as a career, would having ocd on my record affect my future if I choose to go into Mental health or Social working which I probably will. Would I not be allowed to work in this area with this condition even if it gets cured at a younger age?

No, it will not affect your ability to work in those areas of your choice in fact it will help you identify better with people going through what you did and be able to help them through the process better and make it easier on them.
